Many
of us made the choice to come to Jesus Christ because we knew there had to be a
better way! If things in your life don't seem to work out no matter what, if
the world seems to hate you without an explanation and every door seems to be
closed, there is a very good reason! If you feel like you don't belong, that
everything has been taken from you and that you can't even find a reason to
live, then rejoice because this message is for you! Because Jesus said in the
Bible, the world will hate you because you belong to me! So with all that is
happening to you, it is a sure bet that God has chosen you for his very own,
and for that reason, the prince of this world, Satan, will try to destroy
you.
To understand how all of this works we have to believe
that there is a spiritual world and in the beginning God created all things. He
even created all the angels in heaven. Well one of the angels closest to his
throne, one that was in charge of all the other angels, had a thought that he
wanted to be the one and only God. He caused a rebellion in heaven causing 1/3
of all the angels to follow him in going against God. These angels that
followed Satan also know as Lucifer, in this rebellion have now become fallen
angels and have become known as demons.
At the same time, God had created Adam and Eve, the
first man and woman. They were given dominion over all the earth. They were to
live in a paradise in the garden of Eden, never having to work or toil for
anything. Everything was given to them and God loved them so. But Satan wanted
to be the ruler of the world and to take away the rights of Adam and Eve to
rule and reign. So he came to Eve in the garden in the form of a snake. God
told Eve not to eat of the tree of knowledge of Good and Evil. But the snake
came to tempt Eve and tried to forge the same rebellion he was successful with
in doing with 1/3rd of the angels prior. His goal however was to trick Eve into
taking a bite of the fruit of the tree of the Knowledge of Good and evil.
He knew that when this happened, mankind would fall
under a curse from God and would lose their rightful place to rule over the
earth. As a result, the world became a place full of evil and sin. A place
because of Satan's dominion was destined to be! His goal was to have revenge on
God, to take over his throne and to destroy all that he had created and loved,
that includes the earth and all of man kind! God will not intervene because it
was the choice of humankind to rebel against God and as a result dominion of
the earth was handed over to the enemy. So now because of this mistake, in
falling from Grace, it has to be our individual choice whether we will chose to
follow God or Satan.
Now because of this, the world was no longer a
paradise, but a place of sickness and death, disease and wickedness! But even
though Adam and Eve were tricked into handing over their Paradise to Satan to
do with it what he wished, Jesus Christ had a plan to take it all back and one
day restore it, but this war with Satan had to be dealt with first!
Since that time, Satan being as crafty as he is, has
gone to God's throne in accusation of man kind, trying to get God to destroy
all that he had created himself. But God so loved the world that he allowed
Satan to test people in order to prove him wrong. That the people He created
are not so wicked, that they will not all turn against their creator.
During the time of Noah, Satan was at his old tricks
again, enticing people to wickedness, by worshiping other God's, trying to make
God sorry for his creation. Although Satan was successful at almost wiping out
the entire human race at that time, God looked down and saw that there was one
righteous man. His name was Noah. He tested Noah by telling him to create this
Ark, a very large boat that was big enough to hold all the animals needed to
repopulate the earth! Noah going off of blind faith was obedient to God. He
built this Ark despite persecution from others, even though it took him 120
years to do it and with never seeing a drop of rain. God was well pleased that
there was someone among his creation that still chose to follow him no matter
what.
As a result, He ended up destroying all the others,
but chose to save Noah and his family and from him the human race was able to
continue. After that he used a rainbow to make a promise to Noah that He will
never again destroy the earth with water, however in the later years in his war
against Satan, He will destroy the earth with fire!
Revelation 8:7-"And the seven angels who had the
seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. The first sounded and there came
hail and fire, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to the earth; and a
third of the earth was burned up, and a third of the trees were burned up, and
all the green grass was burned up!
But Satan did not stop there, after the destruction of
the earth during Noah's day. Throughout the years, he set out to destroy the
human race one way or the other, once again. But God had a plan to save us!
There came a time when he sent Jesus, His only begotten son to die on the cross
for us! This very act was a major defeat for Satan! Because after Jesus died,
he rose from the grave. He was the first fruit, meaning that when he entered
heaven after death, he allowed all others who died and have been a follower of
Christ to enter heaven as well. You see when he died for our sins, he paid the
price of all that we did wrong in the eyes of God and Satan could no longer
accuse us! He made us Holy and righteous, joint heirs with Jesus to the Kingdom
of God! He said that now wherever He is we shall be also! And we will live with
him forever in his paradise! What price do we have to pay to be a part of God's
Kingdom? The good news is that the price was already paid when Jesus died on
the cross. All we have to do is be willing to accept Jesus as the Lord and
Savior of our life and turn from our sins, which are the works of Satan. This
is good news, but that's not all! Jesus said that one day He will come again
and when He does, He will take back dominion over the earth and Satan and all
his followers will be thrown into the lake of fire forever! The earth will once
again be a paradise as it was intended to be!
At the time when Jesus was on the earth, his disciples
asked him when He would return and be their King. He said there will be signs
of His coming! And in the other books written in the Bible there were prophets
that foretold His coming and the things that will come to pass before the end
would come! The end is when He would once again take dominion from the earth
and Satan will be done away with once and for all! In the book of Matthew,
which gives an account of the life and teachings of Jesus, He foretells in
chapter 24: 4-14, the signs of His coming!
"Watch out that no one deceives you for many will
come in my name claiming, I am the Christ and will deceive many! You will hear
of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things
must happen but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation and
Kingdom against Kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various
places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then you will be handed over
and be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations
because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray
and hate one another, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many
people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold.
But he who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom
will be preached to the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and
then the end will come."
He also said there would be signs of His coming
in the sun the moon and the stars. Matthew 24:29-"Immediately after the
distress of those days the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its
light; the stars will fall from the sky and the heavenly bodies will be
shaken."
Next Jesus goes on to warn about a time that is
coming. A battle of all battles against Satan and his demons. A 7 year period
where Satan will rise up and attempt to take over the very throne of God in the
Land that God chose for his very own, the Land of Israel. During this 7 year
tribulation, Satan will incarnate himself in the body of a man and will attempt
to become a physical ruler over the entire earth as his ultimate goal. His
final attempt to take away all that God created and to destroy it. The Bible
says he will enter the Temple of God, set himself up as God claiming that he is
God. He will deceive the masses in thinking that he is the Messiah, deceiving
many into receiving his mark and the number of his name. The Bible warns that
those who receive his mark will be separated from God forever and will be
condemned to hell.
Revelation 14:9-12-"A third angel followed them
and said in a loud voice: "If anyone worships the beast and his image and
receives his mark on the forehead or hand, he too, will drink of the wine of
God's fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. He
will be tormented with burning sulfur, in the presence of the Holy Angels and
of the lamb. And the smoke of their torment rises forever and ever. There is no
rest day and night for those who worship the beast, and his image or for anyone
who receives the mark of his name." This calls for patient endurance on
the part of the saints who obey God's commandments and remain faithful to
Jesus.
The prophet Daniel in the Bible foretells the coming
of the Antichrist, Satan incarnate, and how he intends on taking God's land and
his attempt to set himself up as God in the Temple of God. Daniel 9:27-"He
will confirm a covenant with many for one seven. (seven year peace agreement
with Israel) In the middle of the seven, he will put an end to sacrifice and
offering. And on the wing of the temple, he will set up an abomination that
causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on
him."
Matthew 24: 15-19-"So when you see standing in
the Holy Place the abomination that causes desolation, spoken of through the
prophet Daniel, let the reader understand, then let those who are in Judea flee
to the mountains. Let no one on the roof of his house go down to take anything
out of his house. Let no one in the field go back to get his cloak. How
dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! Pray
that your flight will not take place in the winter or on the Sabbath."
During the time of tribulation, the Antichrist, Satan
incarnate, will force everyone to receive his mark or be put to death.
Revelation 13:16-17 "He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and
poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead,
so that no one can buy or sell unless he receive the mark, which is the name of
the beast or the number of his name."
So as you can see here in the end of days, the
Antichrist will befriend the Jewish people in order to allow them to build the
temple. After the temple is built in about 3 1/2 years, He will do away with
the Jews, claiming the land and the temple for his own. During the second half
of the tribulation. God himself goes to war against the Antichrist which is
Satan incarnate. God ultimately destroys the temple, the beast and his kingdom.
His new temple comes down from heaven to replace the one that was destroyed.
Revelation 16:17-21" The seventh angel poured out
his bowl into the air, and out of the temple came a loud voice from the throne
saying, It is done!" Then there came flashes of lightening, rumblings,
peals of thunder and a severe earthquake. No earthquake like it has ever
occurred since man has been on earth, so tremendous was the quake. The great
city split into three parts, and the cities of the nations collapsed. God
remembered Babylon the Great and gave her the cup filled with the wine of the
fury of His wrath. Every island fled away and the mountains could not be found.
From the sky huge hailstones of about a hundred pounds each fell upon men. And
they cursed God on account of the plague of hail, because the plague was so
terrible!"
Revelation 20:10-"And the devil who deceived
them, was thrown into lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false
prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night forever and
ever."
Revelation 21:1-8-"Then I saw a new heaven and a
new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there
was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out
of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.
And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying "Now the dwelling of God
is with men, and He will live with them. They will be His people, and God
himself will be with them and He will be their God. He will wipe every tear
from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for
the old order of things has passed away." He who was seated on the throne
said, "I am making everything new!" Then he said, "Write this
down, for these words are trustworthy and true." he said to me: "It
is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the End. To him who is
thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life.
He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my
son. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually
immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars-their place
will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."
But the best news of all is that Jesus also told us
that before he comes again to rule and reign and take dominion back from over
the earth, and even before the tribulation hour begins when people are made to
chose between Satan and God, and be faced with death, having their head cut off
for not accepting the mark of the beast, he made a promise to rescue those, to
take those people who believe in him from the hour of trial that is to come.
This time is foretold to be the most horrific time that will ever occur on the
face of the earth. In Revelation chapter 3:10 He said; Since you have kept my
command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that
is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the
earth."
So how do we know when Jesus will come to rescue those
who believe in Him before the hour of trial begins? The answer is simple. God's
wrath comes down and the 7 year tribulation begins when the Antichrist makes a
move to take God's land.
Joel 3:2; I will gather all the nations and bring them
down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat, then I will enter into judgment with them
there on behalf of my inheritance Israel whom the have scattered among the
nations, and they have divided up the land. 1 Thessalonians 5:3; For when they
say "Peace and Safety! " Then sudden destruction comes upon them as
labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.
These verses foretell that God's wrath will begin when
they divide the land by means of a Peace Agreement as spoken about in the book
of Daniel chapter 9. The seven year peace plan where he makes a 7 year covenant
with many! Also there is more proof in the book of Revelation chapter 6 with
the opening of the first seal. These are the seals of judgment and it starts
with a rider on the white horse. This rider on the white horse, the Antichrist,
comes in peaceably and presents himself as Christ himself. He imitates Christ
in order to be accepted as the Messiah, to gain the trust of the Jewish people,
to create a false peace and cause the peace agreement to be signed. With this
agreement, he divides the land in order to create the peace between the Palestinians
and Israel.
So the question is how close are we then to having
this peace agreement signed? We are very close! The Bible says the prophecy
must be fulfilled in order for the end to come. They are talking about a peace
agreement and dividing the land at this very moment! The final 7 years are upon
us and so is the rapture of the church.
If you want to follow Jesus and be saved from all that
is to come, do it now as time is running out! Ask Jesus to forgive you of your
sins and ask Him to be the Lord and Savior of your life. Turn away from Satan
and his evil ways and you too shall be saved! And you will live forever with
Jesus in His paradise. Jesus made it all possible. He died in such a horrific
way as a sacrifice for us! So now the power is in your hands! There is no
greater love than this! All you have to do is ask Jesus to save you, its a free
gift, but do it today before its too late! He is calling on you to come to Him
now, because once the tribulation begins you will have to pay with your life.
That time is almost here when the age of grace is over and you don't want to be
left behind to have to endure the persecution of the Antichrist. So make the
decision to choose Christ today!
